 8th Global Business and Finance Research Conference

Theoretical and empirical papers or working papers relating to all broad areas of Accounting, Banking, Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, Business Statistics, Econometrics, FINTECH and Business Education are invited for the above international conference. This conference is sponsored by National Chung Cheng University, Taiwan and World Business Institute, Australia (www.worldbizins.org). This conference is partly funded by several Taiwanese organizations and is featured by free conference dinner at the 85th floor of tallest building in Taipei (Taipei 101) and free day tour, apart from very low registration fee.

 

A. Paper Submission and Review Process

 Please submit your abstract or full paper 18 September 2017 (please note you can submit papers any time before this deadline) directly to email address taiwanpaps@gmail.com. Please format your abstract or paper as per guidelines and sample paper provided via conference website.  All submissions will be blind reviewed and authors will be informed about the review outcome within reasonable timeframe.  Authors of all accepted abstract must send full papers by 9 October 2017, if you want them to be considered for our peer reviewed journals and for best paper award.

 

A. Publication Opportunities

 Affiliated Journals

The following three international journals which are ranked B by the Australian Business Deans Council (www.abdc.edu.au) and indexed by SCOPUS are affiliated with this conference: Outstanding papers will be considered independently by the editors of these Journals.

a.    Advances in Quantitative Analysis of Finance and Accounting

b.    International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management

c.    IIMB Management Review

 

Publication of Outstanding Papers

 Outstanding papers will be considered for publication in the international peer reviewed journals such as: Journal of Business and Policy Research, World Journal of Management, Global Economy and Finance Journal, International Review of Business Research Papers, Global Review of Accounting and Finance, subject to payment of applicable paper processing fees (see fee schedule) and compliance to the review report that would be sent after the conference. These journals are ranked by the Excellent Research Australia, Australian Research Council and are indexed by Ulrich’s Directory of USA. These subscribed journals are published by the Zant World Press of Australia (see www.zantworldpress.com) and are under review for indexing by Scopus and ROROJ.

 

C.  Best Paper Award and Journal Publication Without Fees (Outstanding Papers)

Best paper award will be announced at the conference dinner on the 2nd day of the conference and the best papers will be published in any of the above journals and a certificate will be issued to the author.  

Papers awarded best papers or outstanding papers for journals will be published without any submission fees, in the above international refereed journals subject to compliance to the editorial comments.

 

D. Refereed Conference Proceedings and Paper Evaluation Report 

 All accepted abstract and full papers that register for the conference will be published in the refereed conference proceedings with ISBN and will be published electronically via a separate website www.wbiworldconpro.com which also contains proceedings of previous conferences. The website contains proceedings of previous conferences which is also linked with Google Scholar.

 

All authors who present a paper at the conference will receive written feedback in the form of a Paper Evaluation Report within two months after the conference. 

 

E. Conference Fees and Publication of Paper in Journal

Basic registration fee: US $250

Student registration fee: US $200

F. FREE Conference Dinner at Taipei 101

 The end of the conference will be celebrated by a formal sit down 3 course dinner at Taipei 101 (highest building in Taipei) on the evening of 27 October, 2017, from where you can take in breathtaking views of Taipei. Best papers will be announced at the dinner. Dinner is free of cost to the registered participants. Please indicate your preference to attend the dinner on the registration form.

 

G. Free Tour on 28 October 2017

 A day long Taiwanese cultural tour is planned on 28 October 2017 and the tour is free of cost. This day long free tour includes lunch. If you are interested to participate in this tour, please indicate your preference on the registration form. This tour will also give you the opportunity to network with your research fellows in an informal setting.
